WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN MM SHRM?
Founded in 1925, Metro Milwaukee SHRM is the leading organization for human resource professionals in southeastern Wisconsin with over 900 members representing over 500 employers. MM SHRM provides members the opportunity to network with other HR professionals, attend high quality programs on current human resource issues, and offers the opportunity for leadership, career development and volunteering in their community.
Becoming involved and active on the committee level allows members to benefit the most from MM SHRM membership. Committee involvement gives members the opportunity to meet with fellow professionals in a small group setting, increase or share their knowledge in a particular area of human resources, and develop leadership skills.
SERVICES AND BENEFITS
Your membership will provide you with many valuable benefits and services: informative monthly programs on HR/business issues (usually held on the first Wednesday of the month between October through May), insightful and practical workshops, a monthly newsletter, employment referral services, membership directory, and the opportunity to meet and share information with other HR professionals.
ANNUAL DUES
The annual dues are $100 for professional members plus a $25 application fee and $15 for students who are active members in a campus SHRM chapter. The dues are renewable each year on your member anniversary date. Once your application has been approved, you'll begin receiving regular MM SHRM communications.
