Speakers/Panelists:
Jeff Kluever - Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Mr. Kluever will discuss the value-based benefits approach the Journal-Sentinel has taken to cover their health plan members’ treatment for various chronic health conditions. They have created a “Living Will” program, and for members who participate, it minimizes their out-of-pocket costs and in turn has proven successful in reducing the Journal-Sentinel’s health plan and worker’s compensation costs, absenteeism, presenteeism, and has had a positive impact on employee morale and overall health. Learn how they motivated their members to participate.
Lynda Malmberg - Steinhafel's On-site clinics offer a broad scope of services for employees and family members including comprehensive health care services, as well as complementing wellness, disease management and preventive care programs. They also provide cost savings to employers. Ms. Malmberg will share how Steinhafel’s has partnered with a local On-site clinic vendor for their 250 employees and their family members, and how over the past ten years, the utilization of these clinics has contained their health care costs to the point where their employees experienced no increase to their health premiums, have no deductibles, and minimal co-pays for the services they use. Find out how using on-site clinics can have a dramatic impact on health claims costs.
Cheryl Brah - Helwig Carbon Ms. Brah will discuss how Helwig Carbon has used creativity in the design of their wellness programs, with an on-site nurse, exercise and relaxation rooms, Health Risk Assessment, healthy menus, and various other programs.
