This is an excellent opportunity for a Director of Organizational Development (40 hours/week) at our Jackson Street Administration Office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Director of Organizational Development leads the work aimed at the organization’s commitment to being a great place to work for all. They play a central role in promoting and amplifying the positive culture of the agency. They develop and implement programs that exemplify and celebrate the diverse perspectives represented in the organization.
The role is responsible for the development, implementation, coordination and presentation of training and development programs for all employees. They will assess agency-wide developmental needs and implement ongoing training initiatives. They will drive programs to educate, enhance performance and facilitate professional development and continuous learning of team members.
They will be responsible for building and managing a team of organizational development staff.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A bachelor’s degree in education, business administration or liberal arts required, master’s degree preferred in Organizational Development or Training and Development. Minimum of five-seven years' organizational development, training, or teaching with at least two years of experience in a corporate, health care, nonprofit or business setting. An equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired may be considered. Must have demonstrated supervisory experience.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical demands of the position necessitate hearing, talking, handling and grasping regularly. May require lifting up to 30 pounds. Specific vision conditions include close vision reading. Requires the ability to operate a computer, telephone, fax, copy machine and calculator.

The position is generally performed in an office environment and involves frequent interruptions. The noise level is generally low to quiet.
