JOB SUMMARY / DESCRIPTION:

What You Will Contribute: 

The Total Rewards Coordinator will support the day-to-day operations of Badger Meter’s Total Rewards programs as well as the broader HR function.  You will provide administrative support across all areas of total rewards, including Compensation, Benefits, and Wellness.  As a centralized Total Rewards resource, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive employee experience by addressing questions, promoting understanding of programs, and proactively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance outcomes.

Job Duties:

  • Act as the face of Total Rewards and the first point of contact for employees by conducting new hire benefit orientation, responding to questions, issues and concerns and escalating issues as needed to other Total Rewards or HR staff.
  • Be responsible for day-to-day administration of all health and welfare plans (partnering with external vendors to process benefit status changes, investigating and resolving discrepancies, monitoring file integrations, etc).
  • Process invoices, including recurring benefit related invoices, in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy of all payments.
  • Coordinate and execute a variety of programs and initiatives including fitness center reimbursements, employee holiday gift cards, tuition reimbursement, and scholarship program.
  • Support annual and recurring events such as benefit open enrollment, health fairs, blood drives, lunch and learns, and fitness challenges; overseeing all logistics required for a successful program.
  • Maintain accurate information in HRIS system by performing accurate data entry, completing regular and ad hoc audits, and maintaining confidential department and employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, benefit elections, and leaves.
  • Prepare and submit required regulatory reporting including Wisconsin New Hires, EEO-1, ACA, and Affirmative Action.
  • Provide support for annual and on-going processes such as open enrollment and sales plan document distribution, by partnering with HRIS to complete system set up, test system readiness and provide related communications to a variety of audiences.

REQUIREMENTS:  

Education and Experience:

  • High School degree required; Associate's Degree in a Human Resources field preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in Human resources, administrative support, or office management

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products

  • Basic experience working with an HRIS system, preferably Workday preferred
