JOB SUMMARY / DESCRIPTION:

Perform administrative activities in support of the Human Resources organization. May take on assignments from various areas of Human Resources, such as recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, etc. Perform administrative or support tasks in functional area. May research and resolve employee problems and questions. May update and maintain the HRIS systems. May respond to outside queries from vendors, and companies verifying employment under the direction of HR management. May provide support to employee activities and programs.

  • Gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources
  • Manage interview, onboarding, offboarding and scheduling processes
  • Perform administrative activities in support of the Human Resources organization. Use HR tools to update and maintain the HRIS systems.
  • Participate in life cycle recruiting activities which may include posting positions, applicant flow, creative sourcing, pre-screening candidates, interviewing and selection and candidate management
  • Provide data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Must be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as needed
  • The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with candidates and internal and external customers Excellent attention to detail, ability to manage own time effectively, produce work of the highest quality, and meet deadlines consistently

REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Associates degree in human resources, business administration or related field with 1-2+ years of experience in human resources preferably in admin
  • Must be able to handle confidential data and sensitive information
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Basic HR process and procedure experience
  • Quality orientation with attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing. Successful experience in a customer service setting
  • Candidates must be a US citizen and meet DRS security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
