JOB SUMMARY / DESCRIPTION:

This is a full-time, benefit eligible, limited term position, through June 30, 2022.

*Interviews for this position will take place on Thursday, November 11th and Friday, November 12th. 

Oversees the collection, entry, analysis, and auditing of data to ensure the accuracy and integrity in HR management systems. Create, run, and analyze reports to identify trends and support research needed for the collaborative decision-making process. Incumbent's functional areas will include Compensation, Benefits, Recruitment, Organizational Training and Employee Relations. Incumbent will oversee and maintain the department's file management system and perform routine clerical duties as assigned.
 
Understands, interprets, and analyzes data. Performs routine and complex data entry and verification tasks, and related clerical duties. Enters information, looks beyond to find errors and misalignment. Audits and corrects the data if necessary.
 
Enters information into various programs and forms. Understanding of confidentiality principles is compulsory. Maintains accurate and updated data that is accessible through digital systems.

Characteristic Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR functional areas in the collection of information for accurate and timely entry into the College's data management system. Enter new hire, benefit, compensation, labor relations and credentialing, training, and other human resources related information into MATC’s data management system accurately and timely.
  • Enters, updates and maintains accurate data on human resources files and computer systems including:
      • New hires into Colleague system
      • Status change updates
      • Leave of Absence (LOA) processing
      • Terminations
      • Restructure and reassignments
      • Reports and audits data
      • General data entry
  • Liaisons with Talent Acquisition team for data entry and accuracy.
  • Analyze, interpret, and communicate data to stakeholders. Identifies trends, deficiencies or errors and make corrections/updates as required.
  • Perform audits of data entry as assigned. Generates reports, stores completed work in designated locations.
  • Maintains source documents or other information relative to data entered. Assists in or performs the filing and storage of data files.
  • Creates and maintains standard operating procedural documentation for assigned tasks as directed.
  • Serve as a resource for gathering data and file information in preparation for reviews, audits and program certifications as assigned.
  • Maintain personnel file room, including but not limited to filing completed paperwork, revising labels due to name changes, moving files to the appropriate cabinets and ensuring the space is neat and organized.
  • Performs day-to-day service to customers both in person and over the phone; serves as a back-up to front office staff; assist the HR Team with special projects as assigned.
  • Performs other related duties as required for the efficient operations of the division.
  • Scheduling and organize meetings on behalf of and for the Human Resources department to include calendar availability, agenda creation, and taking detailed meeting minutes. 

REQUIREMENTS:  

Required Experience:

  • An Associate's Degree with prior data analysis or systems maintenance experience OR
  • A High School Diploma with four years of data analysis and/or systems maintenance experience


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in a Human Resources Department is preferred.
