JOB SUMMARY / DESCRIPTION:

Continental Properties is looking for a dedicated and driven individual to join our team as an HR Generalist at our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.  In addition to managing day-to-day talent management/employee relations solutions, this position will work closely with leaders and teams to create, partner, and deliver performance management, company programs and policies, career development opportunities, and employee engagement and retention efforts. The HR Generalist will consult and collaborate with key business partners to identify organizational needs and proactively implement a variety of talent management solutions for our team members.    

Core Responsibilities:

  •  Manage and resolve complex employee relation issues; provide day-to-day guidance to managers on performance issues (e.g. coaching, counseling, performance improvement plans, disciplinary action) while creating an inclusive work environment
  •  Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance
  •  Support the annual employee engagement surveys deployment; analyze results and provide suggestions for improvement; assist with the creation of quantifiable action plans for improvement
  •  Partner with the Director of Talent Development in the design and delivery of performance and engagement programs and initiatives for Continental’s workforce
  •  Administer various human resource programs; assist in the development and implementation of process improvements and efficiencies and new HR-related programs and guidelines

Skills Critical to Success:

  •  Ideally looking for three (3) to five (5) years of HR experience required.
  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management or Human Resources
  •  Experience with employee relations, regulatory compliance, performance management, workforce engagement practices preferred. 
  •  A proactive, self-starter with the ability to set and manage priorities.
  •  Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality on all job-related matters.
